New Amazon film from Guy Ritchie sees Jake Gyllenhaal play a soldier in Afghanistan

A brand new Guy Ritchie film starring Jake Gyllenhaal is coming to Amazon Prime Video, in line with Deadline.

Filming on the film, which is at present untitled, is about to start out later this month in Spain. Gyllenhaal will play US sergeant John Kinley on his final tour of obligation in Afghanistan who’s paired up with Ahmed, an area interpreter. When their unit is ambushed, the pair are the one survivors and Ahmed saves John’s life. However, as soon as again on US soil, John learns that Ahmed and his household haven’t been granted passage to America, and he returns to the warzone to rescue him.
